By accident, I found HP SwfScan while doing some flash security work. I have to say I was impressed with this little freebie. They are one step away from the Class Mapper I keep talking about (but too lazy/busy to build).

If you haven’t already checked it out, you really ought to… that is if you like to introspect Actionscript Classes.

I find it more useful than the SoThink SwfDecompiler to be honest. I know it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but I don’t use those anyway I just want to see code and I REALLY like to see Class Maps or Class Hierarchy.

I deleted my orginal post becuase it was the ramblings of a madman. :-)  Ok, just a very tired man late at night.

I still want to explore an possible application that will allow one to extract class relationships from a swf file or swc file, or even class libraries. It would be based on the import statements and would show class relationships graphically. So what do you say?

Just took the Adobe Flex 2 Certification Exam today and got a 95%.

Taking the test through Prometrics was really annoying. The computer had a messed up refresh rate so it was harmonizing with the florescent lights practically throwing me into a siezure! ha ha hah… seriously, it was hard to concentrate with the maddening flicker.

I asked to be moved and so guess what, same deal different computer. It didn’t really matter in that I took the test in exactly 33 minutes. I was in a brain fog the entire time, not just from the lights, but I have been ill for a few days and it seem like today was the worst.

Ok, ok, enough complaining. I’m almost positive I’m the only one reading this blog, so it really doesn’t matter.
